• easybank takes first place in the Recommender-Awards direct bank ranking for the 10th time in a row
  • easybank customers have shown the highest willingness to recommend the bank for ten years

VIENNA, Austria - May 27, 2020 – For the tenth time in a row, the Austrian Financial Marketing Association ("FMVÖ") has confirmed that easybank customers are the most satisfied customers of all direct, specialized and private banks in Austria and show the highest willingness to recommend easybank to others. In addition, easybank is delighted to receive FMVÖ’s quality label for excellent customer orientation again for the tenth time in 2020.

It is with deep gratitude that I say thank you to our customers that, for 10 years in a row, are the reason that easybank has recevied the FMVO award for best direct bank. Our customers are what drive us to improve every day. Our employees consistently focus on delivering excellent customer service, simple and transparent product and the latest in technologies and innovations. This award confirms our focus and strategy, and in challenging times, we aim to be by our customers side," said David O'Leary, Member of the Managing Board of the BAWAG Group and responsible for BAWAG P.S.K. Retail & SME in Austria.

The renowned FMVÖ Recommender-Awards serve Austrian customers as orientation and financial institutions as benchmark. The results are based on a survey of 8,000 customers of banks, insurance companies and building societies. The awards are presented in eight categories to those financial institutions that have the most satisfied customers and are therefore recommended most frequently. In addition, all institutions that exceed the industry’s average NPS® ("Net Promoter Score") of the last five years by a certain threshold value (>5 % for "very good", >10 % for "excellent" or >15 % for "excellent" customer orientation) receive the FMVÖ Recommender quality label.
